Artfox
Artfox is a relatively new social network which aims to create platform on which the art community can connect and showcase their work. I was recently picked up by artfox as a consultant. My responsibilites include developing new features and maintaining the site. (Sept 2010 - Current)
Temphunt
Temphunt.com is a new job site aimed at connecting employers with temporary employees. I worked as part of a small team on contract to develope and release the site.(Oct 2010)
Mamemoire
"Comment Trippler Sa Memoire Apres 50 Ans" or the english translation "How to Trippler your Memory After 50" are books written by Author Jean de Brabant. I was approached by Jean in the summer of 2009 to create a simple site where he could advertise and sell his book. I worked in collaboration with a web designer and was responsible for slicing the designs and creating the sites backend and frontend.
MaMemoire
Since the book was written in french we began with a french version of the website which you can view at MaMemoire.ca. (Aug 2009)
Book On Memory
Following the success of his book Jean had it translated to english and I was asked to create an English version of MaMemoire.ca where the english book would be sold once translation was complete. To view the site please visit: bookonmemory.com (Sept 2009)
Interfacing
Interfacing is a worldwide company with headquarters in Montreal that specializes in business process management software and solutions. I worked for Interfacing on a consultant basis taking part in the redesign of their homepage as well as some of their software solutions.
Interfacing Support Center
The interfacing support center was created as a tool for their clients to view, create, and update service requests. The front end of the application was created using Adobe Flex which used web services to connect to a Ruby on Rails back-end. All layouts were designed by Interfacing Technologies, and all flex development was done by me. (June-Aug 2008)
Interfacing's EPC
For a few months I was working on the front-end of Interfacing's Enterprise Process Center. Much like Interfacing's Support Center, the EPC's frontend was coded in Adobe Flex, but this time with a Java back-end which was developed by Interfacing. One of the pages I was responsible for developing was their search page which can be seen to the left.(Dec-Feb 2008)
Interfacing Layout
While consulting for interfacing I was responsible for the redesign of their homepage. They provided me with the design which I in turn used to create the appropriate HTML, Javascript and CSS. This layout has been updated again since my time at interfacing but a screenshot can be found to the left. (March 2008)
Flash Banner
In addition to the CSS/HTML layout made for Interfacing, a new interactive flash banner was required to complete the site. The flash banner was constructed with multiple sliding tabs, each tab complete with its own video clip, icon and text description. (March 2008)
Wordans
Wordans.com is a create your own t-shirt shop created in 2007. I worked as part of a team at Wordans from October 2008 to September 2010. My job was to maintain the site and servers, fix bugs as well as design and implement new features.
Wordans T-Shirt Designer
While employed at Wordans I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on a new t-shirt designing tool. The tool was designed by our excelent team over at Wordans and developed entirely by me. The application is more fun to play with than to describe so I suggest you checkout the demos section for an live interactive demonstration of the tool. (Spring 2010)
Wordans Shop Creator
At wordans.com one thing offered to users is a free online shop for them to sell their T-Shirts and designs. In order to allow users maximum customizability and full control over their shops we designed and developed a theme creation tool. Using advanced JavaScript and css this tool allows users to click on elements such as banners, headers, text and change colors, borders, fonts, upload images. New Wordans Layout
Over the summer I worked on slicing and integrating a new layout for wordans, designed by our designer at wordans the new layout meant a good deal of work from visual upgrades for all pages to new pages. You can see the new layout in action over at Wordans (June-July 2009)
